The code PACE [1] is a
modified version of JULIAN-the Hillman–Eyal evaporation code using a
Monte-Carlo code coupling angular momentum. The program PACE2 has been
ported to Windows from FORTRAN to C++, and incorporated [2] in the
LISE++ package under the name PACE4 [3].
In the LISE++ framework the program
PACE4 has several new features:
A
user-friendly interface, where
the user can
enter information in dialogs, in which the explanation for each
parameter is displayed. A convenient output of results is available
too;
to
plot
the calculated cross-sections using the LISE++ tools;
The
AME2003 database of recommended values [4]
for binding energies can be used in the calculations;
Possibility
[5]
to calculate a fusion cross
section below the Coulomb barrier in PACE4 using the quantum-mechanical
approach [6].
